SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder
If you have multiple pets in the house and want to restrict access to each feeding dish and keep food fresh, the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder is a great solution for helping cats stay out of the dog food or restricting food intake for weight loss or special dietary foods in a multi-pet home. The surefeed microchip pet feeder is compatible with the SureFlap RFID collar tags and all microchips worldwide and opens when the correct id tag is identified.
Heres a short demonstration of how the surefeed microchip feeder by sureflap works.
As you pet enters the range of detections the surefeed identifies your pet automatically and opens a flap that protects your dog or cat food automatically, and closes automatically when they are done feeding.
Ensure your pet doesn’t steal each others food, and keep food fresh and avoid it from getting dry and stale. The surefeed runs on 4 C sized batteries so no wall socket is needed and measures 12.6 x 9.1 x 7.9 inches and can be programmed for up to 32 different pets.

“5 stars Not only is this genius, but it works!
I’ve been looking for a sensor operated feeder for a while now because I’ve got a cat that will literally eat himself to death and another that likes to graze throughout the day.. Everything I came across seemed poorly designed and had so-so reviews but then I found this one. I was honestly a bit hesitant to give this one a try mainly because it didn’t have many reviews to go off of, but I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did!
My cat is not that smart and she’s a bit skittish but she quickly warmed up to this feeder and was using it within a day. It was easy to set up and took seconds to register her microchip. The training aid it has is a really nice feature, but she didn’t really need it.
I really like that you can adjust how quickly the feeder closes once the pet has walked away. I had it on the default setting and my other cat was able to sneak a quick bite in..but I sped it up and now it closes right away.
If I had any complaints it would be that it does not have a power adaptor or port to plug one in. This would be a nice option especially since I plan to make daily use out of this feeder.
And another issue I had is that when my cat approaches the feeder she likes to look around while eating which sometimes causes her to get out of range of the sensor. So as a result it will shut on her, but then it doesn’t always open back up when she brings her head back towards the bowl. She has to walk away completely then re-approach it, then it works.
Regardless, I am very pleased with this feeder and would definitely recommend giving it a try!
*The feeder comes with a manual, 2 bowls, 1 mat, and 1 sensor tag. It also needs 4 C batteries that are not included.*”
